6 Points On How To Get To Your Place Of Rest

Rest is not just an action you do, but it is a place or a position you can be in. In the text Jesus gives us the points to follow. Also, I believe you can use these points to help you in your pursuit to find fulfillment in your life, especially that which relates to your purpose.

Point 1. Accept The Invitation

"Come Unto Me" Take advantage of an invite you've been given, especially by someone you can trust. This person has proven to be more of a helper than a hustler. Be careful not to rush to what appears to be get rich quick schemes. There are individuals out there in the world who wants to take advantage of your hasty and vulnerable position. In the world of business certain invites can be expensive.Until you have the money, look for other ways to get to that place you desire. So, might I suggest that you search on line for FREE webinars, free consultation, social network Meet Ups, etc. Look for invites around town of your area of interest.

Point 2. Give Yourself And It Shall Be Given....

When you "come" or go to what you have been invited to. You'll know that it's right for you because the individual you are going to see is only out for your well being. They are not trying to squeeze you, but they want to deposit something in you. They desire to give you some insight and information that will help you. These people will genuinely care about you. Its also important that you understand, you must be willing to give yourself, in other words lend yourself to the moment.

Point 3. Keep Laboring It Is Not In Vain...

Keep laboring it is not in vain. People who know this will not overlook the work you've put in to get to that place you've been desiring. They also understand the pressure and the load it can bring. Eventually your labor will bring you favor. So keep working, but be wise while you work i.e. labor. If you happen to be at place right now, where you are feeling heavy laden, compensate by spending reasonable time focusing on and working toward what you really love to do, and prayerfully your breakthrough will come, and so will your rest.

Point 4. Take A Page From Their Book...

Those who desire to help you, be willing to follow their example. Take a page from their "book" or their life. It may require you to adopt some disciplines that may appear cumbersome at first, but you will discover that the benefits far outweigh the sacrifices you made. If you admire their success, take upon a similar approach, or perhaps the same approach. You are not trying to imitate, but emulate.

Point 5. Learn Until You Reach Genius Status

This almost goes without saying, but its important that you are open to Learning. Whatever your area or person of interest is, learn, learn, learn. We live in a society now, where accessing information is right in your hand. Going to an interview? Learn about the company. Starting a business? Learn about it. Desiring to start a relationship? Learn about them. You heard or saw a word you didn't understand? Learn about it, look it up. Here is a way to start your learning process, ask these commonly known questions. Genius status refers to fully understanding. How do you get there? Ask the following questions, this can help.

Who? Who am I learning about or from? Who is it that you want to know about?

What? What Am I learning About? What is it about them or the work they do?

When? When Do I Learn? You have to determine when and how much time you give to learning. If this person is not a mentor to you personally. Then perhaps they can become a virtual mentor.

Where? Where Do I Learn? I find it best to find a space or place where there are not much distractions. When you are in learning mode. The more you are able to concentrate it will help in gaining knowledge.

Why? Why Do I Learn? You want to learn because it helps in your development. In life's pursuits you have to encounter a variety of things, some can be challenging. I've heard and read, that life's experiences can the best teacher.

How? How Do I Learn? Get started! Its sad, but true, the thing that is stopping people from learning is getting started. That's how, just start.

Point 6. Find Your Rest

Isn't it true we are often looking for answers and solutions to our concerns, and so we connect with what appears to be right? We're in search for that place of rest or fulfillment. Be still and listen, hear what is being offered to you. There are a lot of voices out there asking you to "Come" You'll know when it's right for you, because it will affect your soul, your internal conscious and you will be at peace. Remember the invite will be for your well being both now and in the future. When you work this process, you will find or discover what you really need to fulfill your life.
